Reservations
How can I cancel or change my reservation?
[For reservations made on the 9h official website]
9h members can make changes or cancellations from the reservation information on My Page. If you are not a 9h member, please display the reservation information from the reservation number and make changes or cancellations from there.
[For reservations made on other websites]
If you have booked through an online reservation site (Rakuten, Jalan, booking.com, Agoda, Expedia, etc.) or a travel agency, please contact the service where you made the booking.
When will cancellation fees apply?
Cancellation before the day of check-in: No cancellation fees apply.
Cancellation on the day of check-in or no-show: 100% of the accommodation fee will be charged as cancellation fees.
Note: Different cancellation policies apply to non-refundable plan, group bookings or corporate contracts.
Accommodations
What is the check-in time?
Check-in is available from 2:00 PM to 5:00 AM. However, if you plan to check in after midnight, please inform us in advance via the inquiry form.
Failure to do so may result in your reservation being treated as a no-show.
What is the check-out time?
Check-out is until 10 am.
Late check-out is not available.
Can I stay in the capsule unit after 10 am?
No, you cannot. During cleaning hours from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, the capsule and locker areas will be unavailable.
Please vacate the premises or move to the lounge. (Note that some locations may not have a lounge.)
What should I do if I'm checking in late?
For check-ins past midnight, please inform us via the inquiry form.
Failure to provide prior notice may result in a no-show charge.
How does self check-in work?
Guests who have opted for advance payment can use the self-check-in tablet located near the front desk.
Please follow the instructions on the tablet to complete the check-in process. (Available at select locations only)
Payment Methods
What advance payment methods are accepted on the official website?
Credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, JCB, AMEX, Diners), debit cards, and Apple Pay are accepted.
What payment methods are accepted on-site?
We accept the following methods for on-site payment.
- Credit Card (VISA,Master,JCB,American Express,Diners,UnionPay,DISCOVER)
- E-money (Transportation IC, iD, QUICPay)
- QR codes (PayPay, d Payment, auPAY, Merpay, Alipay, WeChat Pay)
- Cash (*Cash payments are not accepted at 9h Smart Check-in locations [9h Hakata station, 9h woman Shinjuku, 9h Ningyocho, 9h Shinagawa station sleep lab for men])
How can I obtain a receipt?
The issuance of receipts depends on your reservation and payment methods.

(Please use desktop browser)You can issue your online receipt from reservation information page. For 9h members, find your reservation on My Page. If non-9h member, find your reservation from reservation number. *Only available from a desktop web browser.

Facilities/Services
Can I request a specific dormitory bed location?
Sizes vary by facility. Please refer to each hotel's website for details.
What should I do if my luggage doesn't fit in the locker?
We can hold your items at the front desk. Please inform our staff.
[For 9h Narita Airport only]
For large luggage, please use the temporary baggage storage service within the airport. We cannot hold large items as there is no storage space within the hotel.
Can I leave my luggage before check-in?
Luggage can be stored on the check-in date.
Please inform the staff.
Can I store my luggage after check-out?
Luggage can be stored until 23:59 on the check-out date. Please inform the staff.
[For 9h Narita Airport only]
Luggage storage service is not offered after check-out.
Is advance luggage shipping available?
Yes. Please send it on the check-in date with the guest's name (in Roman letters) and check-in date clearly indicated on the shipping label.
What amenities are provided?
Free amenities: Bath & face rental towels, rental loungewear, toothbrush, slippers, and earplugs (on request).
Paid amenities: Shavers, 4-piece skincare set (makeup remover, facial cleanser, toner, and moisturizer).
*Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap are provided in the shower area.
What is available inside the capsule unit?
Each capsule unit is equipped with a power outlet, a USB type-A charging port (excluding 9h Narita Airport and 9h Sendai), a dimming controller, a roll screen, a mattress, a pillow, and a duvet.
Is laundry service available?
Not available.
Others
Can food and drinks be consumed inside the facility?
Eating and drinking are not permitted inside the capsule units.
Please use the lounge or go outside the facility for any food and beverages.
Are there any other rules I should know about?
There are policies regarding damaged bedding and lost locker keys.
Please check with the front desk for details upon check-in.
Can minors use the facility?
Our facilities are available for guests aged 6 and above. Regardless of age, one capsule reservation per person is required. There are no child rates.
Ages 6 to 11:
Can be used with a same-sex guardian.
Ages 12 to 17:
Can be used with a guardian.
If the guardian is absent, submission of a consent form signed by the guardian is required.
