Having prior customer service experience, I became interested in working at a capsule hotel. During the interview, hearing about the company's inception and growth from the CEO, I was fascinated by its concept and services. Providing not just a place to sleep but also bath and recharge spaces amazed me. Hearing that, I wholeheartedly wanted to be part of this team.

In my daily tasks, I handle front desk reception duties, delegate tasks to staff, train new employees, communicate with headquarters and the SV (Supervisor) team, and coordinate with subcontractors as needed. Additionally, I organize task worksheets, manage team work schedules, and oversee regular hotel maintenance.

Ensuring cleanliness throughout the facility and creating a comfortable environment for guests is my priority. It brings me joy to see the team working at a high standard and cooperating with each other. I appreciate the efficient support from the headquarters and SV team. Currently, 9h is growing, and post-COVID, we're expanding into hostels alongside capsules. Experiencing these changes together is exciting.

Every day brings a stream of new events, with both repeat and new customers. This means tackling fresh challenges and devising efficient ways of working. Everything revolves around ensuring customer comfort. We foster an environment where the whole team collaborates to deliver excellent service, with everyone having opportunities to learn.

Intrigued by the unique capsule hotel concept, joined the company.

During my university years, I worked part-time at Nine Hours because I wanted a job where I could use English and interact with people. After a year, I fell in love with the environment, the concept of Nine Hours, the workplace atmosphere, and the service that maintains a good distance with customers. Even though I received a job offer from my desired travel company, I couldn't forget my experience at Nine Hours and decided to join as a full-time employee.

As a manager, I mainly handle front desk operations. This includes check-in and check-out, reservation management, phone and email correspondence, and regular cleaning rounds. I also take on administrative tasks such as creating shift schedules, managing and ordering supplies, and training staff. Additionally, coordinating with the headquarters and supervisors (SV) is an important part of my role.

Many customers tell us that staying at Nine Hours changed their perception of capsule hotels, saying it's clean and comfortable. Hearing this makes me happy because I want to change the image people have of capsule hotels. I love the simple concept and design of Nine Hours, and when customers become fans and return, it feels incredibly rewarding. Also, the close relationship between the headquarters and the stores means that when I have any issues, I can always talk to HQ or my supervisor. This support makes me feel valued and appreciated for my efforts.

The staff are generally bright and calm, fostering an environment where everyone actively communicates with both customers and colleagues. This positive atmosphere is consistent across all locations, creating a very pleasant working environment.

On my days off, I like to go out and enjoy good food, see new things, shop, or watch movies. These activities help me refresh my mind and body, preparing me for the next workday.

Don't worry if you have no experience in hotel work or don't speak English. Most of our staff start with no experience, and you can learn everything, including English, through our training. With dedication, you'll be able to handle the job within a few months. At Nine Hours, your enthusiasm and effort are always recognized and rewarded. I became a manager at 23 and have had incredible experiences. There are many opportunities for growth, with new stores opening all the time. I worked part-time at Nine Hours. Despite a job offer elsewhere, I chose to join full-time.

I worked at 9h nine hours as a temp. After leaving the agency, I also left 9h nine hours, but found myself returning due to another opportunity. When I needed full remote work due to a change in lifestyle, 9h nine hours proposed a solution. During my time as a temp, I gained diverse experiences and felt personal growth. Seeing the opportunity to pursue the work I wanted, I decided to join again.

I'm responsible for developing, operating, and maintaining the sleep analysis system software. This involves tasks such as implementing renovations due to hotel expansion, introducing new sleep metrics, streamlining reports, and troubleshooting issues. I handle design, implementation, and testing, and collaboration with vendors and partner companies is crucial for large-scale projects.

I've been experiencing tangible growth through new experiences. Learning programming languages and AWS services has deepened my understanding of systems, enabling me to bring my ideas to life and enjoy problem-solving as if it were a game. Moreover, being involved in the upstream processes of software development, giving instructions to team members, and monitoring progress have made me feel a sense of stepping up.

The team members foster a calm and gentle atmosphere, making communication smooth. Working fully remote, I interact with the team through online meetings and chats. During meetings, conversations flow beyond work topics, and it's easy to engage in discussions and request work tasks informally. I'm delighted to collaborate in such an environment.

On weekends, I ensure to rest adequately. Saturdays are for enjoying movies, anime, or indulging in hobbies, allowing me to unwind and forget about work. Sundays, I prepare dinner for the upcoming weekdays and dedicate time to studying at a relaxed pace. This routine aligns well with my personality, easing the weekday stress and enhancing my work performance.

At 9h nine hours, I feel a sense of growth and confidence as we rapidly expand and face new challenges. With many colleagues being relatively inexperienced, it's an environment where we support each other's growth through collaboration.
